I'm having trouble deciding who I should ask for letters of recommendation, because I haven't really got to know any of my professors really well. I've gone to a few of my professors office hours frequently but thats it, and I don't know if that would be enough to ask them for letters.

Is it common for a professor to agree to write a letter, even if they don't know you really well? (Only that you received an A in the class and attended office hours regularly)

I have heard of people asking for LoR, and bringing in a "portfolio" of their work (exams and essays, assignments) from the course so the professor has a physical copy of something to draw his/her opinions from. And also a "greatest hits" attribute sheet - Somewhat like a resume/CV.

Just a thought.

How many professors really get to know the students they give LOR's to? Almost none I owuld bet. LOR's would really be something if they were not given away for the asking. Ask any professor for an LOR, you will get one from someone for sure. If the professor remembers your face, you are leagues ahead of the curve.
