hi everyone,

Could I get some feedback on my stats?

what are my chances with a 3.52 overall GPA and 3.61 BCPM.
I applied to DO schools only a week ago.
My MCAT score for april 2004 was a 25N and for August 2005 a 23K.

What do you guys think:
At this stage, should I even bother to apply?

well my advice is don't be worried to death. Life will continue, except in the Natural Reserves in Alaska. But that is a different story.

Be happy with what you have and give it a shot. Your 25N will still apply. The only advice I would of had is apply early (if you need to next time).

ALso I assume you have more then just these stats. You did something interesting, EC, Great LOR, etc...

You'll probably get in to 50-75% of all DO schools with those stats.

Have you even looked at the averages for DO schools?

You might consider doing some research.

seriously, dont worry about it at all. continue with all the applications and you are sure to get in. more than likely you will get in to more than one school. i think the only thing that could possibly hurt you is that you are just now sending your apps. good luck.

relax my friend...you'll stats will get u plenty of interviews-just make sure u apply to a lot of schools

Thanks guys...I needed that assurance.

I also have 2 years of research experience, 2 years of volunteer experience, and some extra-curricular activities.

Hope some schools will be interested in me...

numbers are always good. experience is even better. self confidence is key.

when you get your interviews (and you will) you need to be sure that a DO school is what you want...and they need to see that

I had similar stats dreambig. I was accepted to the one school I applied to. I swear the only reason I got in though is because I have worked at a hospital for three years full time and gone to school full time. If you have anything that makes you stand out from the rest, make sure you emphasize that in the interview.

For the interview: Prepare well, listen and bring it.
