I have a dilemma.

I was locked out of Northwestern’s Status page last week. This week I received and scheduled an interview to Rush which is in the same general area. Do you think it would be kosher to call NU and ask them if I will be offered an interview? I haven’t received a rejection letter as of yet but I know getting locked out is tantamount to rejection. I normally wouldn’t consider this but I really want to go to NU.

Is it even worth the time to call them?

It only takes a second to call - you might as well ring them up and see if they can update you on your status there. You're right, being locked out most likely equals rejection from their school, but it can't hurt to try. GOOD LUCK!

Well, I just called.

They said I should recieve a status letter with in the week.

Status Letter + Lockout from Website = Me not attending NU

C'est la vie.

Their first date available was Jan 20th, it's a thursday, I scheduled for then.
