Hey!
So I registered for the wrong section of a research class, as I didn’t register for the section that allows you to write an Honors thesis at my school (a thesis is required to High, manga cum laude, or Highest Honors, summa cum laude, upon graduation)

Is it worth having a drop on my record in my last semester to write a thesis? (I think the answer is yes).

Just some info, I have never withdrawn or dropped a class and this is my last semester.

It's like the first week of school, drops shouldn't appear on your record. Besides med schools don't care about withdraws unless you have like 10 billion.

Nah it’s after add/drop, and yeah you’re right I’m probably just being neurotic

it's early enough and you've got a great reason! so even it does (for some reason) come up later on it should be no problem once you explain it

I dont think your honor distinction will matter in terms of med school competitiveness, just your gpa. do what you want, i dont think it matters much either way.
