I have Anki on computer and its been serving me well so far, has anyone used the APP version though? Is it worth it? For MCAT, and general Pre-med courses.

If you used it on the computer you know how useful it can be so their is nothing anybody else can say to its worth .. The only different with the apple version is that you can use the app anytime you want because its on your phone. If you enjoy using the desktop version and want it on your phone go for it . " If it is worth it" is only a question you can answer ..

I would say the Anki decks are a phenomenal tool to help prepare for any exam, especially the MCAT. Although the MCAT tests thinking ability, you must be proficient in the sciences to score high. If you tend to forget certain concepts easily, the first mode of attack is to do a lot of question in that topic. Notecards are also a very valuable resource. Since Anki decks are based on a very popular algorithm statistically proven to help aid in memory recall, I think it's a good addition to your arsenal for MCAT domination. Good luck!

There's a free Anki app if you use android. When I was browsing through the Google Play store, I saw the one that cost $25 and the free one - both supposedly made by Anki... I downloaded the free one and never looked back. It works just like the online-only version, but on your phone. For what it's worth, I really like it. Obviously, I make the cards on my computer since the actual program is much more robust.
