Hello everyone,

I posted a thread asking for help with my PS about a week ago and after taking some people's advice I have rewritten my essay. It is now a lot shorter, only 150 characters over the limit. I believe it is a good draft but it may need some fine tuning (I can't look at this anymore today, I've been working on it for hours). If anyone would be interested in taking a look at it before I officially submit it that would be appreciated. And please feel free to either give just a general overall impression of it, or make any edits that you think would strengthen the essay.

I am looking to submit my completed AACOMAS tommorow or perhaps Friday. In ADDITION if anyone would like for me to read their essay for D.O. school to have a last minute additional impression of it before submitting it officially I would be happy to read it. Please send me a PM with your essay and I will try to get feedback to you ASAP.

hello there,

I found that I did not have room to do that specifically, from what I gathered from the forums I think there will be plenty of opportunity to say why D.O. on the secondaries and during the interview.

another piece of advice, save what you wrote about wanting to go D.O. so that it can be easily reused when the secondaries arrive. I hope this helps.

I know that a lot of secondaries will allow you to expand on the reasons why you want to become specifically a DO. My PS does comes together to show that my experiences show that I am qualified and passionate about the characteristics that define a DO. 😉
