I am currently signed up for the June 2oth MCAT, but feel I need more time for content review. I have been taking a TPR prep course since March, but it is so intense that I quickly fell behind. My diagnostic test was a 497, and the prep course teachers said aiming for a 506-508 is ideal.

I took the previous MCAT, and received a 25 (PS 7/VR 8/ BIO 10). The general advice I've seen is to submit early, and indicate I will be retaking the MCAT to receive secondaries. Would delaying my MCAT to July significantly affect my application?

Further Stats:
cGPA: 3.62
sGPA: 3.41

EC's:
3 years as part of a volunteer club, 1 year as vice president
2 years in a volunteer chapter of a national policy think tank, 1 year as the Health Policy Director
1.5 years as a volunteer social worker in an underserved community
Current: 6+ months of volunteering as a tutor with a non-profit that works to improve the reading literacy of elementary-school children

P.S.: I sincerely apologize if this is in the wrong section, this is my first post!

Yeah I agree with Goro, chances are by the time it takes for your application to process (4-8 weeks) you'll have taken your mcat and will be waiting for grades.
