I am working on secondaries and am having a difficult time determining a topic for my adversity essay. I have a few ideas but am concerned they may not be personal or large enough.
1. I was in charge of planning a week of service set to take place in March last school year. We planned for about 3 months and the week before our event, we were moved to distance learning due to COVID-19. We were able to push the week back, adapt, and move the week virtually to still make an impact.
2. Last school year I planned a health related carnival and an hour before the event began, my facility request form was changed from approved to denied. I was able to work through this and secure tables, chairs, and gain approval for the health services to come on campus as well as bounce houses etc.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
