Backstory: I graduated with my Bachelor's in Nursing. Years ago when I was applying to my universities BSN program, we were required to take a 2 semester A&P course as well as a Microbiology class. Both classes were for pre-nursing majors/non-biology majors. Both courses are taught by the Biology department.
I haven't found a clear-cut answer on any website as of yet.
- My university has 2 Microbio classes; the one for pre-nursing majors and those for Biology majors.
-The a&p course for nursing majors is strictly humans; the a&p course that bio majors take is other vertebras as well.
The course description for my Micro class I took was
"The Basic Principles of microbiology, morphology, physiology, immunology and the relationship of microorganisms to diseases. This course is designed primarily to meet the requirements for students in allied health sciences and other programs requiring only one semester of microbiology. This course may not be credited toward a biology major or minor. "
Here is the A&P one
BIO 2451. Human Anatomy and Physiology I.
Part I of a two semester course on the structure and function of the human body. Designed specifically to prepare students for nursing and other health professions. "
Any help would be appreciated, thank you. Obviously, I am going to retake Micro class for the "bio majors" next semester, but I was just curious about how those 2 classes I previously took would count as.
