Would it be a waste of time shadowing 2 family doctors

Went to a crap ton of clinics. Two of the most promising ones are family docs doing PC. Would I be wasting my time shadowing both of them? I think most people only need 30 hours of PCP shadowing and other 20 on other specialties. Would it be ok if I do say 20 hr on one and 10 hr on other? Or should I drop one if it comes to it.

Nope. Seeing how two different docs approach the practice of Medicine has some value. But if you're interested in a particular specialty, shadowing in that adds value to your answer when you're asked "what specialty interests you". You've walked the walk and not merely talked the talk.

So 20 on one FP and 10 on the other is fine.
