Thanks again,

how do I say it....you are definitely parked in the same garage that all the other people being accepted are parked. You DAT has strong and low points, so I think they balance out. I am SURE that you'll get interviews at some of those schools, esp your home state. Practice up on your interview skills, read the SND feedback for every school you get an interview from to and be prepared for them to ask you some of the same questions that people post on here. You'll get in somewhere and quite possible multiple places if you leave a good impression on the adcoms.

the link to the interview feedback is:

Good luck!

I would apply to your top 5 schools and as long as you have some social skills you will get in. Unless it has become much more competative than when I applied 4 years ago. One year to go baby!

May I give u my honest thoughts?
Your DAT seem to be a little bit low in my opinion. Bio and Reading are two most important sections that they will mainly focus on. Even Maryland last year has average DAT of 20 AA. Columbia is quite a battle for u cuz their DAT average is 22ish. Penn is even harder with 3.7 GPA and 21 or so DAT.
If you have time, you may consider to retake the DAT. Its just my 2 cents.

Try it out this year. If you feel good then you can retake the DAT in September or see what happens and then go from there.

The only thing I see that could do harm to you are the two 17's. Just because of the competitive nature of the cycle. I would bug the schools and let them know you want it.

Good luck.

Thank you for the constructive criticism. I AM definitely retaking the DAT in September: my concern is that these scores are not competetive enough to sustain me until then. I do not want schools to reject me based on these scores. :-/ That being said, I don't think they're horrible and I consider myself more or less then average applicant. However I am taking a year off to work at a dental office, hopefully that is a little extra.
