Would taking a course in the summer kill my chances of medical school?

I need to take one more course to graduate (0.25 credits). Would taking it in the summer on it's own kill my chances of medical school? The course I would take isn't a pre-requisite or a mandatory course, just a credit I need to fulfill to graduate.

They'll probably be like... oh he took a summer course by itself.. cool. And then move onto the rest of your application ASAP.

No, no one will care. I took many summer classes so I could graduate early.

Can adcoms see if a summer course was 6 weeks or 10 weeks?

ex: 12 units of 3x 6-week summer courses are going to be much harder than 12 units of 3x 10-week courses taken over the normal quarter.
