IDS3125 - Basic Clinical Skills (-2 credits)

-The goal of this course is to develop basic clinical knowledge with ekgs, vital signs, blood pathogens, CPR-AED, advanced life support, intubation, patient history, splinting, street drugs and common challenges in the clinical setting.

IDS3400 - Medical Shadowing Internship (-1 credit)

-The goal of this course is to shadow a physician of any specialty for ~50 hours and understand the everyday case load, work conditions, illnesses, procedures and present a research paper at the end of the semester for the class about this medical specialty.

I'm just wondering if they would count, if so it would boost my science gpa to above a 3.5. I think they do of what I've seen on the science gpa courses document on AACOMAS... Thanks!

I'd say yes to both of them based on what (you and) I see in the present AACOMAS course classification. They'd both go under OTHER SCIENCE.

Yes, I agree they are science classes, but only 1 credit so it won't help a ton.
