I am freaking out.... I have been accepted to one of the schools in Texas, and I was getting ready to send my final transcripts to them and one of my friends mentioned something that has really made me freak out ... One semester on my junior year i was subject to probation warning and I had no idea that it is considered a disciplinary act since it was just a warning, but my friend was telling me that it will be on my transcript and I went and got a copy of my transcript and sure enough its there..... BUT to the answer to question " have you ever been subject to any academic disciplinary act?" I had said no in my TMDSAS application!!!!!
I don't know what to do and how to fix this, do you guys thing they will revoke my acceptance when they get my transcripts????
Tell them. Once you get an acceptance schools will look foolish revoking it unless it is something really serious(ex: the applicant turns out to be a murderer, rapist, or a druggie). Admissions generally do not like to reverse their decision because it makes them look bad. If it was just a warning then don't worry about it. Better that you let them know because if they find out later it will be a considered a malicious attempt to misrepresent yourself which is grounds enough to kick you out no matter how minor the transgression was originally.
I hear all of you, BUT I'm also afraid that I will be bringing something they won't even notice to the light and make a big deal out of it. Since the transcripts will go to registrars office and not the dental dean's office or admission office....
and Also doesn't TMDSAS send school a copy of transcripts, so shouldn't they have seen it by now? or can't they tell by looking at the GPA???
And the question was exactly stated as :
Were you ever the recipient of any action by any college or professional school for:
a. unacceptable academic performance:
b. conduct violations:

they will surely notice, sorry
That is really weird. At my school judicial affairs is not allowed to disclose any information that has to do with disciplinary action. The only person that has access to such information is the student, or the student has to give permission to disclose . Therefore, it would never show up on a transcript. I am sorry to hear that!
Correct me if I am wrong. This is your final transcript that you are sending to them and this warning happened in your junior year. Wouldn't the school have already seen the warning on the official transcript you sent off with your aadsas application? Don't the school get a copy off your transcript from aadsas? If this is the case then they are fully aware of the situation already and you have nothing to worry about.
They are most likely not aware of it now, since they mainly look at the AADSAS version of the "modified" transcript, not her original school transcript. But they certainly will look at them closely once the final transcript before the matriculation is submitted to see any discrepancies.
If this is how it works, I stand corrected.
A crappy semester grades will be noticed regardless of disciplinary action not being noted on the transcripts. If you a semester with failing grades and no indication of any disciplinary action they might wonder what happened on that semester. If the OP had told them before hand that there was disciplinary action beforehand then it would be consistent with the semester of poor grades. If not then the OP is at the mercy of the admissions going over the file again and revising their decision. Being forgetful about grades that were noted a long time ago is generally acceptable as long as you tell them. If its minor action like a warning is also generally acceptable.
