I was wondering if CSC 1000 could be substituted for MGMT 250 as a retake. Both courses have the exact same curriculum.

MGMT 250 : Information Tech for Business
A certain level of knowledge of information systems is increasingly an essential component of the tool set for all professional careers. Just as a professional needs to be proficient in communications, he/she will also be required to be informed of essentials of information systems. Such essentials include the basic make-up of a management information system, its operational principles, and most common applications, relationships between a management information system and the overall business management, as well as major issues in deploying and evaluating management information systems. This course will serve to lay the groundwork for students to develop solid information system knowledge in their professional careers. Prerequisites: Restricted to School of Business majors and pre-majors. Credits: 3
CSC 1000 COMPUTER LITERACY: INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTERS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (3 S.H.)

This course is an introduction to computers and their uses in the electronic office. The course assumes no prior computer experience. Topics will include history of computers, organization and structure of the typical computer, simple troubleshooting of the computer, how to set up computers for use, basic keyboard skills, overview of uses of the computer, overview of different operating systems and user interfaces, introduction of text editing and word processing, electronic mail, databases, spreadsheets, telecommunications, etc. Prerequisite: none. This course is offered every fall and spring semester.

But they were legit the same courses.

The "business" portion makes it dubious but since there seems to be a honor code in the app system, you can try it.

I assume these two courses are at different schools..

I was a pre-business major at my first school, and when I transferred, I switched to hospital admin. Both majors belong in the school of business and have a mandatory computer course. MGMT and CSC and have identical course syllabi; I literally did the exact same thing in both courses.

Ok but remember that verifiers have nothing to go on but the course titles. I guess that they would take it since this is just the matter of a non-science course, which is of a tad big less significant than science courses for the science gpa.

If they reject and you attempt to change this, you may be successful but it does eat up some time so plan accordingly.
