Given that today is April 1, would you be freaked out if a school called/emailed today to offer admission??

Rationally speaking, I would not be worried at all. A university or professional would never prank someone like that, 4/1 or not.

Now that said, I received my good news in Mid March, and I was still worried that it was a mistake or joke... So I think if I did hear something today, I'd have to make a conformational phone call - Otherwise i'd never get any sleep

hehe, funny you should ask... got an April fool's acceptance letter myself, and although I'm worried about plenty of things, being pranked isn't one of 'em... but it sure will make a fun story down the road
