Guys, quick question.

Does mesial of #31 have "horizontal bone loss" or "vertical bone loss"?

First I thought it has vertical bone loss, but later i'm thinking it might be horizontal. Hmm.

Any ideas?

Draw a line from CEJ to CEJ.
Draw a line from bone level to bone level.

If they are parallel= Horizontal
If they are not parallel= Vertical
