Good Morning,
Regretfully, I must inform you that due to the COVID-19 crisis, WREB is taking the unprecedented action of suspending all scheduled dental examinations between now and April 20, 2020. We have already had several schools postpone due to their local circumstances and we anticipate more will be forthcoming. If your exam is scheduled for after April 20, 2020 we hope that the situation improves and we are able to conduct your exam as scheduled. We will be checking in with you as those dates come closer to determine if any further schedule adjustments need to be made.
In the interest of maintaining safety and good health for all the parties involved in the process, contributing to the mitigation of transmission and particularly out of concern for candidates who would be subjected to additional stress with a high probability of patients not showing up, we feel this is the best course of action.
Next week we will begin working with every affected school to reschedule as soon as is feasible. Please recognize that we will do our best to reschedule as soon as is possible, but we cannot predict the future course of this crisis. We also ask that you understand that we have limited resources to conduct exams, but will work to our maximum capacity to meet everyone’s needs as expeditiously as possible. We know candidates will be further stressed with this news and they have concerns about graduation, achieving licensure and moving on to jobs. Every part of their process downstream from the exam will also be affected by this crisis.
We are asking that you communicate this news to your students to let them know that we are working together and every candidate who is registered for an exam will be transferred automatically to the rescheduled date, when it is finalized. If the new dates don’t work for candidates, details on how and when to request a refund will be forthcoming. Please ask your candidates NOT to call the WREB Office next week. At this time, there are many unknowns and staff will be very limited on the answers they can provide. It will only delay the process of rescheduling the exams and moving this process forward.
I sincerely wish that this was not happening to any of us, but it is happening to all of us. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Rumor has it WREB claims they are down to continue and its up to our school to decide whether or not to continue.
Its a weekend though so who know what happens come monday.
hello
thanks for your information,
1. I want to know what documents is required for getting the approval to be able to take the WREB exam?
2. I live in Canada and I will come to USA with visa do I need to be resident of USA to be able to take the exam?
3. What is the difference between all regional clinical exam? (like: CDCA, CITA, CRDTS, SRTA and WREB)
4. I am applying for Texas dental license and Texas accept all 5 of these exams and I dont know which one I should take?
thank you so much
If Texas accepts all 5 exams and you're sure that's where you're going to practice, take the easiest or cheapest one.
