Need help here im super torn equally between all 3, and I want to do either ENT or IR, and finances arent a huge deal gratefully.Wright State:
Pros: cheapest 280K Total COA, 3 hours away from home, the current students seem happy, potentially want to stay in ohio after medical school.
Cons: mandatory lectures, not strong research opportunities, no home ENT program or radiology program, older facilities, living in dayton would be boring compared to others
Drexel:
Pros: really like the flipped classroom pre clinical years with a lot of online classes instead of mandatory, being in philly woud be fun, strong ENT research faculty, cool community programs, really nice new facility, students seem to like it, close to gf.
Cons: have to go somewhere else for clerkships (would be somewhere else for an entire year which they assign you), 400K total COA, no home programs.
Hackensack:
Pros: 25 minutes away from manhattan, has hackensack hospital affiliated which is a great hospital system, cool curriculum structure where each week is based on a clinical case, has a few residency programs im intersted in but not IR or ENT, very close to gf who will be in NYC
Cons: newer school, most expensive 460K COA, mandatory lectures, admissions has been a mess not sure how this translates to faculty at school, doesnt seem to have a ton of research in the fields i am intersted in.
