I am panicking because I did something really, really stupid and need some serious advice.

My school closed my email account a after I graduated. That wouldn't really be an issue, except for the fact that I'm an idiot and put my school email (out of habit, it's been the only one I used for the last four years...) on my AMCAS and now don't have access to it. I resubmitted the app as soon as I realized my mistake, but I'm worried because I think I probably have missed emails from AMCAS and quite possibly some secondaries. Should I start calling all schools I could possibly have gotten a secondary from to see if it has been sent? I know some schools send secondaries before verification (like GW) so it's possible I have been sitting on a few for more than the ideal two week turnaround. I hate that! :smack:

I can't believe how dumb this was. UGH!

Update your e-mail address on AMCAS. Notify schools you applied to with your AMCAS ID and your new e-mail. They will make the correction.

Thank you! Should I do that via email or phone? Or does it matter?

Where would I be without CodeBlu and SDN...

If I were you? I'd e-mail the schools right now.

And then CALL them on the Monday to confirm it, if they have not sent you a reply e-mail.

Good call. I appreciate your advice tremendously! I still can't believe I did that!
