WTF is going on? AMCAS deleted all my information.

When did you do it? AMCAS officially opened today, so if you put the info in too early in the day, it may have reset.

7:00 AM to 10 AM, god damn it.
 
Gunning? I had rotations at 10 AM, so I figured I'd put in the information while I was still up

You're still gunning. It can't be submitted until June, there was really no need to fill it out completely at 7am on the day it opened. At least you have over a month to fill it out again!
 
I'm on rotations from 8:30 - 5. I have projects to do, so no, I really don't have time to write a personal statement, 15 activities, all in a month.

You're all mistaken. A true gunner has his PS mentally crafted his first day of college. His first and only transcription of his PS is when he enters it into his AMCAS application.
 
A true gunner pays a Pulitzer-prize winning author to write it for him.
 
Okay OP, time to move on. Learn from your experience and wait a few days to make sure all the bugs are worked out before you enter in all your information.

Yeah, tell me about it. I just entered about 10 grades, got so tired and gave up, will attempt much later at night. Now I'm trying to write all my activities in a coherent fashion while pushing the three cases I need to complete by tomorrow to the side of my head.

I wrote all my descriptions and completely re-wrote my personal statement in 2 weeks while working full time in a research lab. Do an activity per day or over 2 days, work on personal statement in free time/on weekends...you'll get it done. It doesn't have to be done by tomorrow.

Moral of the story: save all your descriptions in Word or something and then paste them into AMCAS so this doesn't happen again.
 
Wait, this happened to me last year but it came back. I never quite figured out what was wrong. There are two different links to take you to your application - if I clicked on one, everything disappeared, but when I clicked on the other it all came back. I was flipping out. Wish I had more solid advice and this wasn't so vague, but it was a weird thing (I made a thread just like this and had to delete it because everything came back). Keep checking and try clicking around a bunch when you first log on to the site.

Contact AMCAS, see if they can salvage it. If not, I'm REALLY sorry - I'd rather claw my eyes out than put the #@$#@$!@ transcript info in a second time. =(=(=(
 
That sucks, man. The same thing happened to me today, but fortunately I only put in stuff for the first section or two (e.g. name, state of residence, etc.). I couldn't imagine putting in 20-30 classes and losing it all.

I don't think he did attend (per se) more than one university (per se) but that's because he didn't black out well enough 😉
 
I attended three: high school, main school, summer (physics).

I'm on case report #1.

I have to wake up at 6 AM.
