can folks confirm/deny that PCOM-GA has a creepy clown doll display, like LECOM-B's?

Any chance both are from the same creepy donor?

If his name is Chuckie that would be awesome though.

LECOM Erie & Seton Hill too?

"No, I don't see any problem with the presence of clown dolls at our medical school. Why would that be an unfortunate association? Moving on..."

It's absolutely true and I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. It's really insanely creepy. I'm sure that hallway can give a demon a boner
I need pics for, uh, reasons. Seriously though, I'm curious if they're the same as the clown statues that lurk the halls of my hospital.

Oh wait you were asking about PCOM GA. I was talking about LECOM B.

Oh, man. The ones in my hospital are creepier. They're like, abstract clowns, full size, made of painted bronze with flat, featureless faces. They got put off in corners to kind of hide them (they were donated, so we couldn't really get rid of them) so they just kind of pop up behind you if you're new and not expecting them to be there.

one clown display, quirky. more than one med school with a clown display, creepy.

Can anybody confirm the clown thing at PCOM-GA? Without that, this thread is just a repeat of the usual lol@lecom thing.

For the record I am a big fan of LECOM - it's pretty much the ONLY private US med school that has done ANYTHING about keeping tuition down and is a clear leader in attempting curriculum innovation to address REAL problems in med ed. Folks can kvetch all they like about draconian discipline policies but those are some small-ass potatoes.

It is now my mission to put insane clown posse paintings all over WesternU.

@DrMidlife -- I didn't see any clown display (or any display for that matter) at PCOM-GA during my interview....There's a giant DNA molecule painted on the wall though.

I don't recall any clowns at Seton Hill. Haven't been to Erie. There's actually a circus museum in Sarasota, so I think it's just a LECOM-B thing.
Barnum and Bailey were apparently donors to LECOM B so I guess that's why they have the clowns everywhere to haunt you

I am a Seton Hill student. No clowns there. In fact, the overall decor is quite Spartan and there are no paintings or sculptures or displays.

I was just up at the Main campus in Erie for a required workshop and was surprised to see large display cases of animal skulls including a huge rhinoceros skull.

They are trying to make the place look more Erie (get it?)

Lecom-Erie has some very creepy mickey mouse medical figurines that mess with your head on that long walk to the office of the administration

The only thing I can think of after reading this thread is 'what a bunch of jokers'.

Seton Hill doesn't have it. Now I wished they had
