Didn't acpe decline their request for a site visit?

2. I find it funny how they market their school, "Would like to become a pharmacist in just three years, please talk to us about our PharmD degree"

Sounds just like a tech soon, which they are.

The letter is titled "family affair". Basically asking me to refer my kids or nephews to them.

Anyone else get this propaganda?

You can still move forward despite being declined, it's like failing out of pharmacy school and going back to reapply, you can technically tell your friends "i'm moving forward with my pharmacy career"

they probably bought it from the company that administers the PCAT

less likely is they bought names/addresses from the CA BOP, but that would only make sense if they targeted technicians (for obvious reasons)

PCAT takers are in the application process so there's your culprit. CNCP did the same thing (their letter began something like "we noticed you had a super awesome pcat score and want you to apply...")

haha, i never took the pcat though. maybe my undergrad school sold my info! 😳 must be the budget cuts to the UC system! finding ways to get extra cash...haha. prob not.

I just got a letter from them as well but I'm already a P2. I wonder how they got my info? I only applied to CA schools so I didn't take the PCAT. Maybe because I was a technician and took the PTCB? The UC system sold my info? Who knows who cares hopefully they don't accreditation.

lol, I'm also a P2 and I received a letter from UF's pharmacy school recently. I think it was Pharmcas that might have shared our info..

I also received this letter (as a P2). I know that a lot of the letters were actually sent to the students at the school address and were left with admissions.

man, this is piss poor marketing for sure. i'm actually surprised, you'd think a non-school like this would pump more money into marketing.

haha.. they are targeting (no pun intended) pharmacy students. I guess pharmacy student could potentially get the word out, but problem is most of them are outraged abt a new school...

Nonetheless, time to fire up my bunsen burner and give this letter its deserved respect.

haha, but yes, horrible marketing by the school. it's like opening a bakery and sending flyers to....other bakeries in the area.

my friend called them today... they told her their school didn't get a site visit bc their building has not finished construction and they want it finished b4 they come...

The counselor told my friend that the school is already pre-accredited, which of course is false.... Also told her plenty of demand for pharmacists per govn't labor stats...

sounds like the 9th school will be up and running...
