Looking for anything!! I have interviewed at both schools and am torn. Not looking to go into neursurg, derm, etc but I don't want to do family medicine. I am military so tuition/cost of living isn't really an issue.
WVSOM:
Absolutely beautiful. Yes very rural and there was literally only a Walmart but the small town/family atmosphere was amazing.
Further from family but not the biggest issue in the world
Love outdoors activities and seemed like WV would have more opportunities than KC
Not sure I would love staying in WV all four years for the most part
KCU:
I feel like it has "a better reputation"
Easier access to resources...even grocery stores haha
Would unfortunately probably have to live further from school
Does have military medicine tract.
Way easier to have family visit
I feel like my heart is in WV but I feel like KCU has better education/resources to get me a good residency. I appreciate any input!
