the only explanation I could think of is I had one of the makeup kits last night and I found myself surrounded by thugs...the mods asked me "how do you want to use the makeup kit?" I opted to dress up like a thug disguise and got Harley Quinn to protect myself from being killed.
I demand a re-investigation! Check me out tonight, you'll see I'm innocent. Also, remember how I wasn't on until evening (after work) hours? so how could I get on a speeding boat?

Contingency action, or your fellow wolves figured you would want to survive and sent it in for you? Escaping/cancelling a lynch is usually a wolfy ability; sure, not always. But since you're not admitting to it and no one is stepping up to say they cancelled the lynch because of XYZ -- then I'm going to assume that the wolves did it. And why would they save a villager from being lynched...?
(In other news -- sorry I went MIA there. My internet stopped working around 7pm CDT last night and didn't work again until this morning, and we had a busy day in clinics so I haven't been able to catch up until now.)

Night 6 Update:
Good evening and welcome to the 10:00 newscast. I'm reporter Jen Avett.
First up tonight - debauchery in Gotham City. Residents have reported that the Batmobile was seen late last night, but not where one would expect. It was parked outside Gotham's best-known night club, Batty Girls. Our sources say that the uniformed driver was offering champagne to women outside, but only if they were willing to go inside the vehicle and meet the car's owner. Which leaves us to wonder... does the Batman have his priorities straight? We'll hear more from witness accounts later.
Also in the news tonight... Commissioner Gordon was spotted on a video surveillance system while snooping around inside a player's house. The player's identity has not been released. The Commissioner's office insists that it was clearly a hoax, and someone was posing as Gordon in the video. Police are looking into the matter.
The police were busy last night arresting t70s after she was pulled out of the south end of the river. She was found dangling inside the net of a fishing boat, but the fishermen were not present at the time and the boat was docked. The police are baffled, but grateful to once again have her in custody. We await information on a trial.
After the break, we will hear from residents living near the river that say the random cracking noises at night are disturbing their sleep.

Also after the break... sharks in Gotham City? One resident was victim to a drive-by spray attack with shark repellent.
Hold on a moment... we are getting a report of breaking news here in Gotham City. A large cloud of green gas was seen floating somewhere near the bridge on Main St. just a few minutes ago. Devyn was seen running from the cloud. Witnesses are reporting that she screamed repeatedly at kanderson, accusing her of using up the remainder of Gotham City's supply of whiskey. The bystanders were horrified when kanderson stepped from the crowd to defend herself and was immediately attacked. According to witness accounts, Devyn stabbed her victim "at least thirty times" before falling to the ground in a sobbing heap. She offered no resistance as she was led away in handcuffs. We have not yet heard if she has been jailed or hospitalized. Police report that kanderson was declared dead at the scene.
