.... and the mods rested.

Actually, no. The mods gritted their teeth and grumbled at wolves who throw in the towel without so much as a feeble attempt to duck the villager frenzy.

And so the mods acted. Forget the lynch. One second Nohika was sitting in a jail cell cooling her heels. The next second she was sitting in the middle of a park in Gotham City with nobody in the near vicinity.

And then the hair on her neck stood up.

And then came the lightning. Over and over.

When it ended, all that remained was a scorch mark where Nohika had been sitting.

Nohika, the Scarecrow, will not terrorize the citizens of Gotham City with her gas anymore.

Yay villagers! :highfive: So, how many wolves are we thinking are left? Pretty definitely the Riddler. Other possibilities I think might be around (still) are Killer Croc and Two Face. Thoughts?

I think from nyankos death it seems pretty clear two face is still around. Unless the mods are just fecking with us.

I'm still missing important PMs. I'm putting a strict deadline at 6 pm eastern. If I don't get PMs, I will RNG, regardless of importance.
 
With the last few victories, the citizens of Gotham City got a little cocky last night.

The bat signal was seen overhead as the citizens turned it on so they could enjoy a wild night of drunken debauchery. This meant no security where they needed it most.

Whips cracks were heard throughout the night but nobody paid them any attention. The batmobile was seen in the streets. Even Batman was seen out last night beating somebody up.

But what was shocking was when they returned to city hall the next morning. The body of their mayor, Krist, a citizen of Gotham, was found half submerged in a vat of acid with a sign around her neck "it's not over yet..."

I think it's interesting that with about a third of the players dead we haven't lost any villager roles, just "citizens." I wonder if there aren't any special roles for the villagers this game? Obviously if anyone has a good role they shouldn't tell the thread or they'll be wolf bait, it's just something I was thinking about.

I'm not going on anything solid so don't bandwagon just for the sake of bandwagoning. Kakuru hasn't responded to PMs and hasn't been involved that I recall.

I'm open to waffling if anyone's got something better ...
 
For now I'm going to say lynch swingn. I'm not sure by any means, just kind of suspicious. Totally open to waffling if there's better info.

Haven't really had much in the way of items and I've shared all the information I've gotten.

Have only gotten one PM from each of the other members of my group, so not much to respond to. Have been really busy with school/work/family health things that haven't really gotten much strategy thinking done.
EngrSC, your PM was just a question about PMing, which I honestly thought was a little off--even with just one previous game, I would have thought you would have picked up last time that "get your PMs in" refers to item/role/whatnot actions--did you not have anything last game to PM the mods about?

I never had an items to PM the mods about last game, which was my first.

Hopefully more info comes to light so I have an idea as to who to vote for.
 
I am uber-busy, my group communicates as little as I do, and I have had no investigatory ability, so I have nothing to add.

I am out most of the day today, so won't be able to follow any good leads.

I will lynch foxhunter

for no reason but that she says I always try to lynch her, so I might as well be consistent.

Aagh! somehow half my post got cut off so you'll all have to deal with me doubling it up here into two posts.

...anyway. Do we know anything about EngrSC? It caught me as odd that she called out kakuru for being MIA, then voted to lynch her after FFM said he was mildly suspicious. And then kakuru answers back (aka is no longer MIA) and EngSC doesn't change anything, wasn't she "open to waffling" as her post said?

Maybe its the two hours till shift ends paranoia, because I also got all suspicious of SOV for lynching FH after she appeared on that abortive cleared list. I trust SOV and know there's no drive in his FH lynch :shrug:

Eh, dunno but for now I'll go with the spidey sense, even if it's caffeine related.
