XW on Transcript

Guys I hate hate hate to do this but I can't find the answer anywhere. I have been lurking for a while and nothing is coming up. I dropped 2 classes in my college career, on my AMCAS transcript one is W which is normal, and the other is marked as XW. Wtf does XW mean? Thanks in advance, again sorry about the new thread for something so small.

Not sure if it's the same, but it could mean teacher withdrawl of student, or possibly an audit. I don't know if every school runs the same codes, but it should be listed in the University Handbook. That would be your best bet. Or, ask the Registrar and they will have an answer for you.

I think you should bring that XW to the attention of the Registrar at your University. I was going through my University handbook, and I wasn't able to find a XW in the grading system description. Hope it all works out. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Are you saying your transcript has XW or AMCAS listed it as XW?

I'm not sure, maybe both. What does XW even mean, the college is closed and I can't find what it means anywhere.
