As of this morning, May 6th, AMCAS has had just under 17,000 applications initiated on their system. Just as a reminder, as I am sure as everybody knows, you can start submitting on June 3rd and AMCAS will start submitting data to the schools June 27.

how does the compare to recent years/where'd that info come from?

Here I thought starting early and submitting my transcripts made me special hahaha
