Anyone have insights into this program? Competitive? Research v. Clinical heavy? I have heard mixed things with several faculty leaving the program. Appreciate any insight.

The fellows seemed unhappy about being stretched between the different centers including some new community hospitals that Yale has acquired. That, and having to respond to lots of private community Attendings consulting them. The PD cares about the program (IMO this matters so much in every program) and they were happy about the changes he is making. A great amount of clinical and basic and translational research happening there. I don't know much about clinical training so I can't really speak to that.

Interviewed there, seemed pretty research focused. Probably just as competitive as any University program.
