Dunno if you all know this already, but you can get cheap flights on Southwest to Bradley in Hartford and then take a relatively cheap CTLimo to Phelps Gate (on the undergrad campus) or even sometimes to the med campus. If you click on the 'Yale' button on the CTLimo site, you can get an even steeper discount (though you will ostensibly, but rarely in practice, need to show school ID).

I know... I know. I have no right to be cranky. I just am sick of the uncertainty, as I am sure almost everyone else is. I really need to take up a really time consuming hobby for the next 2 weeks.

Actually, I kind of tried that already. I got myself to have a crush on a boy (ok, man, i guess) so that i could obsess about him instead of Yale and the other final decisions i'm waiting for... But I think I have so much neurotic energy in me from this whole process that I might have just really scared him.

I just have to make it until the end of this month...... Yale, please don't waitlist me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems like they'll come out March 31st, according to people on here who have called the admissions office.

just wanted to wish you guys good luck. yale is fantastic and it is people with this kind of enthusiasm that yale accepts. they are aiming to get the emails out to accepted students by next friday. hope to see you guys at yale next year 🙂 also, we love chocolate, too.

who knows? i think that they just love to play with our minds. maybe they tell us next friday, but send them tomorrow, just to screw with us. to top it all of, they only send it to like 5-10 people so that news can spread on sdn that acceptances have gone out, yet no one else has gotten in.

man, the sadistic things i could do as an adcom *rubs hands together* mwahahaha.

Their class is exactly 100. I don't think they overaccept, so I bet they have a very active waitlist.

According to a YDN article of 3/22/05, Yale outright accepted 172 people last year. Some of the paperwork we received at the interview this year reveals that a total of 220 offers of admission were made last year, so it seems around 48 people were accepted from the waiting list. I have no idea how many tiers 48 people would cover.
