For all my friends in the staying positive thread.... I FINALLY got my first interview invite.... !!! YAY!!! Im so excited... Looks like i'll be packing up the gear for a road trip to Stony Brook..... To anyone who's interviewed there, any advice and feedback would be much appreciated....

Hey, thank you everyone. To answer most of your questions, my stats are 3.5gpa, 3.5 science, 3.9 bcp, and my applications were sent out by AADSAS on Sept 15th. My interview is this week, so if anyone else is going to be there, PM me. I have been reading the feedback on this forum, doing any searches I can for related posts with SB in it, reading their website, basically trying to find out anything I can about the school and program, so i'll have some good questions to ask, but theres not a wealth of info out there like there is for other schools. If anyone has interviewed there or is a student there, any feedback, comments, other resources for information, etc.. it is much appreciated, please PM me. Also, if anyone knows any stats of what my chances are i'd love to know. I REALLY want to go there and was just wondering how many applicants they interview vs how many they accept. Thanks everyone and i'll let you all know how it went. Im gonna bring the A game for everyone.

SB is really nice. Everyone there is very friendly. It's a small school. Everyone treats each other as a family. They only accept very few spots each year. Your GPA seems competitive, but also depends on your DAT scores. Just be yourself. You'll be fine. Best of luck.
