I actually like it when a school just rejects me right away if they're not interested. It's like ripping off a band aid. Hurts initially, but it's faster than rotting away with no word for months.

hmmm.. and the wierd thing is that we know that most of these stats are probably correct.. so if you have stats below these, you'll be discouraged to apply right away... even though you might be better than the gen matriculant population

Mayo was the first school to reject me. $30 is not enough, please pay us another $100 before we actually look at your AMCAS! 🙁

at this point I would rather get a rejection than sit here and come up with another conspiracy theory as to why my undergrad is ignoring me when my stats are right in line, I have two of their profs vouching for me, plenty of EC, Clinical research....you name it.
