Hey guys,
I've been sneaking around on here for a few days and thought it was time to post. I just got into medical school, deferred due to professional doubts and have gone through the loop as far as considering alternate professions. I'm currently at ya'lls bus stop so to speak. I spent two semesters in college working in a linguistic psych lab and was fascinated by the work done there (more or so than anything in my field, genetics). I don't know if all I want to do is research or whatever, but I do know I want to learn more.

My question is this: I'm essentially set on trying to land a job where I can learn more about the field, do you think I can get a lab tech job in a psych lab? Do they even HAVE those jobs? What do ya'll think about toughing it out, going to med school and considering psychiatry?

Seriously anything ya'll have to offer would do wonders for me. Like I said, I've considered a lot of different occupations since I deferred my acceptance, but this one is probably the most interesting but unfortunately, also the one in which im least connected to.
