Good Morning Everyone,
I have been looking into GI Bill benefits in regards to dental school (I applied this cycle). I'm hoping someone on here has used the VA Yellow Ribbon program and can give me an a solid answer to my question. On the VA Yellow Ribbon page it states...
On the participating schools page a hypothetical school will pay $10,000/per qualifying student/per year. Does this mean that the school would pay $10,000 and the VA would pay $10,000, making one's complete Yellow Ribbon benefit $20,000/per year? I tried Google, but everything that comes up is ambiguous so far.
Thank you ahead of time for a response.

Institutions of Higher Learning (Degree Granting Institutions) may elect to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program to make additional funds available for your education program without an additional charge to your GI Bill entitlement.
Institutions that voluntarily enter into a Yellow Ribbon Agreement with VA choose the amount of tuition and fees that will be contributed. VA will match that amount and issue payment directly to the institution.
