I was forced to take this miserable class, Analytical Chem, because our schools enforces it as a prereque for Biochem. I was really scared because this prof gave one A last semester out of 35 students. This summer I got an A ! I sure hope it actually applies to biochem.

Anyways, I learned a lot about Acid/Base chemistry, Metal Complexation and Electrochem. All of these topics are on the MCAT.

Dont feel so insecure tacrum43, it and medikit. This country is very short on nurses and they are getting paid pretty well these days. Not everyone can do the work to get into medical school. Some people try and try but just cant get As in the hard classes. I guess you are in that class. I am sorry for you. I am sorry that you are such wankers you would insult a guy for celebrating a good grade in a really tough class. Maybe you should get back to your small little lives. from your post OP, it seems like you dont have much regard for nurses and you almost look down upon the profession!. let me tell you something buddy...if you have ever worked in a hospital setting..you will get to know that nurses do MUCH MORE than doctors and in some cases KNOW MUCH MORE than doctors too. i hate to say it, but if you dont have respect and appreciation for these people, who in no sense are any less intelligent than docs in my opinion, you will really suck as a physician and will never be able to acquire a holistic appreciation of your field. stop looking down upon nurses; doctors are handicapped without them...,,.

Sounds like you are so insecure that you have to post all of your accomplishments and elicit "inferiority" from other posters. You know there are people with 4.0/40R that don't get into med school, right?

I am sorry that you are so insecure that you think I must be insecure to discuss the great accomplishment of getting an A in Analytical chemistry. In psychology they call that projection. Now if you are really a very secure and intelligent person yet you feel required to insult me that is called reaction formation. Either way I am always available to diagnose you and your problems and you can rest assured that my diagnosis is correct because I did get an A in analytical chemisty. I am guessing you did not. Sorry.

As for your insane statement that someone with a 4.0 and a 40 will not get into medical school that only makes sense coming out of your mouth. In reality, medical schools care only about two things, your MCAT score and your GPA. If you think otherwise you are employing another another psychological mechanism designed to deal with difficult truths and situations. Fantasy is actually a common defense mechanism. I hope you snap out of it soon and start to study harder so you too can get an A in analytical chemistry.

haha sorry I don't sit there and think about it, so I would not know. Anyways, regardless a subjects material does not really change does it? The material seemed like an easy repeat of some gen chem stuff. Then again all chem has come really easy to me so maybe Im biased😉

Well, you didnt really answer my question so I will just assume you go to a very easy school.

A-chem does cover the same topics as Gen Chem II but to much more detail.

A-chem and P-Chem are often the hardest classes at a university. I bet you will avoid both.
