nope! Apparently UCSF has a 14-day countdown timer that starts ticking as soon as they send you the link to the supplemental apps. According to their website, if you fail to submit the supplemental within 14 days, your application will be oblitered 😱

My application was mailed out by AADSAS on 7/22.
So far, I have received supplementals from:

Western
ASDOH
Midwestern AZ
Boston
UCSF

I received emails from:

NYU
Buffalo

When did you receive the first and second email from UCSF?

same thing. I got them on 7/26 within minutes of eacthoher. I e-submitted 6/12...but got sent out on 7/22 b/c of one transcript.

pretty much have heard back from all the schools i have applied to(27 of them)...except UCLA and USC.

The Boston secondary asks you to limit your response to 1000 characters. Does anyone know if that is with or without spaces?

My response was a little over 1000 with spaces and it didnt cut it out in the text box or anything...

I could not submit more than 1000 characters with spaces. It had a pop up that told me to I had to cut it down before I could submit.

The Temple supplement asks for basic information and to pay the fee of $50. No essays need to be written. Mailing date was 6/27

quick question...if you submit your AADSAS but haven't taken your DAT yet, can the schools send you their secondary applications? (I'm talking about those schools that contact you about secondaries not the ones where you can fill it out online right away)

I emailed UCLA the other day just to make sure they had my app. They replied..

You will receive confirmation that your AADSAS application has been received and further instructions for the secondary application in a few weeks. In order to prevent delays, please do not submit any documents or updates in advance.

This may be a stupid question, but what qualifies as a supplments?

My completed application just got mailed today and I already got emails from:
Midwestern - Said my academic credentials meet their minimum requirements and asked me to complete a supplemental application. (WOOO!! I think this is my first official supplemental application).
ATSU - Invited me to access their secondary application.
Louisville - Thanked me for applying and asked for a $50 fee.
LSU - Basically emailed me saying my application was complete and they would contact me if they needed more information.

So does that mean that as of right now I officially have secondary applications from ATSU and Midwestern? It's also hard for me to determine if they truly want a secondary application from me or if they second secondaries to everyone.

Thanks all, I really appreciate it! Every one on here has been invaluable as far as advice for the DAT and the whole application process 🙂

finally recieved my Case admission handbook/viewbook today and it just made me so excited to get a letter in the mail! 🙂 everytime i get any kind of notification from ANYWHERE my heart is just pounding and sooooo excited for the whole process...i just feel like i am escaping reality though...my gpa is low and its gonna be a tough road :/ I just want to be a dentist SO BAD and really have worked hard to get to that dream.

I just get really excited for every form of contact from a school. 😛
