Family founds Amway. Family donates lot of money to a presidential campaign. When Amway has a legal charge for being a pyramid scheme, family gets POTUS to help out. Family then invests in private, for profit schools. One daughter in law gets made into Secretary of Education, despite no educational background. And her brother started the one biggest "definitely not a mercenary army" ever. Secretary of Education says "nothing to see here boys!".

Sounds legit.
