cGPA: 3.75 sGPA: 3.8
MCAT: 512

-Worked as a medical assistant in an urgent care facility for nearly 1 year.
-About 250 hours hospital volunteering in CCU
-1 year in research lab at my UG
-2 summers of research at the NIH (National Institute on Aging)
- 2 posters / presentations at the NIH
- Manuscript submitted for publication
-1 summer of research at Massachusetts General Hospital (Dept. of medicine -- Infectious Diseases)
- Will have name on publication
-Molecular Biology teaching assistant for a year and a half at my UG
-About 200 hours shadowing (Family practice, CT surgery, anesthesia, pediatric oncology, hepatobiliary surgery)
-Life sciences student council member at UG for 2 years
-Pre med club/ BSU

List? Yale and Stanford are my dream schools. Do I dare? Don't want to turn this into a WAMC but would I have a good shot at these schools? If not I'll probably do post-bacc research and try to get involved in the community a bit more before I apply. But anyways..

You good man. Apply anywhere you want. Although it might be a bit late if you haven't submitted your primaries this cycle. If you're applying next cycle your only limiting factor is probably budget.

I suggest you actually post in WAMC once you have a list.

Yup. Only some 400-500 AA males applied to med school last year. We need more.
