Chances thread.....
This is for Canadian medical schools
Undergrad GPA 3.6
MCAT: Jan 07 = 10 PS, 10VR, 11BS, O WS
Varsity athlete at a very large ontario university, MVP, captained a few sides
70 + hours volunteering in a hospital
Helped coach my old rugby high school team as well as a rival (high school) team last year
Team captain for provincial rugby team (under 18 and under 21) and also played senior mens provincial.
Currently finishing my graduate degree in medical microbiology (april 08 grad......hopefully)
TA undergraduate biology.
Excellent LORs... grad/undergrad prof, thesis advisor, rugby coach/co-coach
Amateur Muay Thai fighter (although I am debating leaving this off)
4 publications as secondary author.... one primary publication in the works
Presented at two international conferences as a graduate student
Realistically.....what are my chances at canadian medical schools.
Also, do you think there is anything I could change...add?
Thinking about joining the graduate student council for the resume.
