3.83 cGPA, 3.76 sGPA with moderate upward trend. No grades under B with mostly As in senior year. Double major in political science and biology (interested in public health).
29 MCAT (7/10/12).
3 years clinical + lab experience (including 2 summers) with some abstract publications
Will be spending year doing full time research and publishing thesis
Excellent extra currics (volunteer, shadowing, leadership, etc.)
Many strong recommendation letters
NY resident

Obviously my MCAT physical sciences section is what killed me. I did get 10 credits of A in physics if that helps.

I originally wasn't planning to apply to DO schools but unfortunately taking the MCAT again is not a real option and I need to apply this year. I've already applied to MD schools regardless so I guess I'll see what happens there.

There are 10 or 11 schools on your list where you have a fair to good chance at an interview. That's not bad. You can delete Rutgers since you are OOS. I think you know the real reaches.
If you add DO schools you will be fine.
