For program directors: How important are final grades vs comments for away rotations in psych? (e.g., Honors vs High Pass/Near Honors?) If the comments are reasonably good, how much does that actual grade matter? Is it dramatic and will it be on the applicant to explain why she/he "didn't Honor?" Rest of the app is solid, good scores, 3rd year clerkships all honors/high pass with great comments, several publications in neurology/psychiatry. This is not at my #1 program. First world problem vs significant obstacle? Or something in between?
