Am I shooting myself in the foot?

Hey guys, I plan on submitting my application in the next week or so and take my DAT around July 24th. I was wondering after DAT verification (7-14days), which will put me at the beginning of August, decrease my chances drastically compared to the early applicants who submitted on the 1st of June. One other questions was can I submit my transcript now before I submit my application? (I know it takes 4-6 weeks to have it verified. Thanks yall!

No. That was approximately my timeline and it was fine. Yes you should submit your transcript now.

After taking the advice of someone else on this forum, i'm doing the same; submitted my AADSAS, taking my DAT July 21st. I'd much much rather have a higher DAT score and let it be a little later than "normal" (although, technically it's just a little bit early)
