That being said,
My criteria for picking my school (MSU-COM) was the match list and how many residency programs the school has. When I did a search for any field, whether it be a surgery residency or medicine residency, the most programs seem to be affiliated with MSU-COM. In addition, the school's match list boasts programs like Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, Case Western, UPMC, and Johns Hopkins.
I would suggest checking out the match lists for whatever schools you are considering, but from what I have gathered, aside from MSUCOM: NYCOM, OUCOM, UMDNJCOM, and PCOM have a wide array of residency programs in several specialties.
If you look at reputation and admissions selectivity, I think NYCOM, UMDNJCOM, DMUCOM, KCUMB, and MSUCOM are definitely among the more selective, looking at MCAT/GPA averages.
