Next semester I am taking these 2 courses + lab for each one

Zoology 200 (Introduction to Animal Biology)

Description:
(General Education/Natural Sciences) Lecture and lab emphasize basic principles
in animal biology including scientific inquiry, cell biology, genetics,
ecology, evolution, and diversity in animal anatomy and physiology.

Botany 200 (Introduction to Plant Biology)

Description:
(General Education/Natural Sciences) Lecture and lab emphasize basic principles
in plant biology including scientific inquiry, cell biology, genetics,
ecology, evolution, and diversity in plant anatomy and physiology.

... Does this sufficiently meet the pre-med requirement of one year of biology?

You should be fine. I think that some schools might not accept botany though. MSAR would come in handy, or other SDNers who know more than me.

I know some schools, like GW, have a limit on how much Botany can count towards your 1 year pre-req. So, maybe some schools will not consider it at all. Off the top of my head, i think GW said at least 50% of your biology credit has to be unrelated to plants.
