Hey everyone!

Quick question about this, specifically from Destroyer number 60.

Why wouldnt you be able to have 8 possible products? Wouldnt ethylcyclopentane be the 8th product?

Could someone help explain this to me?

Thanks in advance!!

There could actually be more (such as propylcyclobutane). I posted this on the destroyer Q&A. Dr. Romano meant to ask for constitutional isomers with dimethyl and cyclopentane specifically.
