I applied to 11 (UT being dual) and that was 2 DO and 9 MD. Since I already have 7 interviews, I am hoping that is enough places! Also, I applied to UT Chattanooga and haven't heard yet. I rotated at UT Knoxville so I guess that's why I lucked out with an interview (next week ) there!! Is it still very early in the process? I got most of mine right after I submitted and then OHSU last week and Wake Forest this week. Anyone have a sense of the flow of the invites?

UNC sends you an email through ERAS. I just got one earlier this week. I would try calling them and asking what your application status is--that's what I did about 2 weeks ago.

I got my First Hill invitation on Oct 9th. I am guessing they send invitations in batches. I have others I am waiting on as well, but really want an interview at Cherry Hill! Did you apply for their alternate clinic locations?

I only put in my application 2 weeks ago. Mostly applied to California Programs, Have heard back from 4 with interviews. Rejection from 1, usc. At what point should I email a program director to follow up on the status of my application, if at all?

Random question for you all, don't know if it will work. Basically, my wife is 8 months pregnant and applying for Family Medicine. I am applying for Ophthalmology because I am weird and like eyes. Because of this, my programs only have a few dates for interviews and cannot be very flexible. So, we are having some issues getting our interviews synced enough so that I can travel with her while she is very pregnant. Right now, she has an interview at UVA on Nov. 2, but this is very hard for us to do because I have an interview in Akron, OH on the same date. We are trying to find someone to switch with her so that we can both interview in Akron on the same day. My interview at UVA is on November 19--although she doesn't have to be on the same date, we just don't want to have the interviews set up like we do right now at two different locations on the same date. I would say that I would just cancel Akron, however I really have to interview at multiple locations to match into ophtho due to the fact that most places only have 3 or so slots and I'm not a supergenious.

We have contacted UVA, but as of right now, she is just on the wait list for another date and we don't know if she will get another date or not...

Thanks for the consideration! We both really appreciate it!!
