I was taking a next step practice test and came across this question...

I think I'm right.. Look at the damn picture. I took a virology course recently and this structure looks very similar to a tobbaco mosaic virus but they did mention bacteriophage. According to the passage the answer i guess is B because complex viruses usually only infect plants, but the picture clearly demonstrates something completely different. Maybe its just poor wording. Someone want to clarify this for me? Thanks

There are bacteriophages that have icosahedral heads and tails that make it technically 'complex', so your answer isn't wrong...but judging by the key words (T2 and protein coat), the picture and the way the question is worded I think it's asking what the capsid shape, or 'head' is (icosahedral), not what the overall structure looks like. Tricky though.
