pretty disappointed in myself for not hearing back from any of these schools ): someone give me hope!
If you applied for the fall cycle for west coast, the deadline is May of 2017. You probably won't hear back from them until June.

from what i have read, NYU won't get back to applicants until like....Feb or so (I might be wrong, but I do think they take a while) so it's normal not to have heard anything from them!

Thanks so much for letting me know, I appreciate it :)

Great stats!! Why didn't you apply to Eastern Washington? Just curious! :)

I haven't seen too many people on here applying to Tufts, but does anyone know anything about Tufts? like how competitive, or even around what time of year we're supposed to hear back from them??

Hey! I applied there, too. I shadowed an OT who went there and she spoke very highly of the program and its involvement in the community. One of the reasons I applied there was because of my respect for her work as an OT. From what I've seen on past threads, we would hear back in February sometime. The application doesn't close until January 15th

Same with me! I shadowed an OT that went there and she only had positive things to say about the programs and faculty connections. My sister also went there, but idk if Tufts will factor that in for a graduate program.. Really hope we both get in!

How long do you have to wait? I'm stuck in limbo until end of Feb./ beginning of Mar.
One school said my application would be reviewed this month & the other school won't begin reviewing until February...

I have an overall GPA of 3.6 but a weak GRE score of 286. Do you think this will balance out to get me an interview? Did you have strong GRE scores?

Generally the GRE scores are used as a cutoff if they list a score. If you have a good personal statement and they don't have a cutoff and you have good hours you should be ok.
