I understand that many schools require you to apply during your first or second year of dental school, but you have to apply just like any other applicant to the MBA program. This has produced a few questions:
- Do dental students take the GRE/GMAT during their first or second years of dental school then, or is it better to prepare by taking the test prior to dental school? (Side note: I know students must apply to HBS and HSDM concurrently, but most schools I've looked into depict applying during dental school)
- We spend so much of our undergraduate years doing pre-dental related stuff. What type of work experience (or recommendations, or anything for that matter) do they look for in a dental student, then? Potential? Should I be interning for a more business-related company before dental school?
I'm really interested in DDS (or DMD) / MBA programs and would appreciate any help.
