Which is precisely why the future cost curve of healthcare must be bent downward. It is unsustainable.
 
I think that guy needs to hire an accountant and business consultant. He says his gross practice income is $800,000. A PCP who owns his own practice and employs 2 nurse practitioners should be making way more than that.

Yeah, something about his math does not add up. I suppose it would not be nearly as sell-able a story, however, if they found someone making 350-500k/yr on 800k in revenue...

If they wanted to be honest and forthcoming he would supply his year end income statement and balance sheet. We could actually glean something from that information.
 
Maybe he bills $800k but that is not his reimbursement level?
